The third Nipponica festival continues in Bologna and many other Italian cities: encounters with Japanese culture, art, literature and theatre. On Saturday 10th November at 4 o’clock, at the Museo Civico Archeologico in Bologna, Matteo Casari will be presenting a new Damiani publication entitled New Zen, tea ceremony spaces in contemporary Japanese culture. From Arata Isozaki to Terunobu Fujimori, the book is a photographic journey through the work of more than 30 Japanese architects who – with innovative materials and new approaches - have revisited the chashitsu, the traditional rooms dedicated to one of the most fascinating oriental rites.
