The presentation will take place on December the 2nd at 6 pm at the Photographer's gallery, 16-18 Ramilies Street, London WIF 7LW The images published in the book form an intimate portrait of the photographer's twin sister, Jess, with her partner Stan. Through her images Gunhammar captures not only the love and tenderness in the couple's daily life, but also the difficulties and anguish they live with. Underlying the images of Jess and Stan as a loving couple is the fact that their lives are marred by their respective illnessess: Stan suffers from Parkinson's disease and Jess from Lupus, a chronic disorder affecting the immune system. Jennie Gunhammar died last June after a long battle against Lupus. Following her wish, a percentage of the book is being pledged to the "St. Thomas Lupus Trust" Charity 24 Nov 2009
