Sculptures is a journey in search of dream images in locations which seem to be on another planet but are, in reality, all in Italy: the cliffs of Calafuria, the beaches of the Migliarino San Rossore National Park, the marble quarries of Versilia... In these places the magnificent bodies of fitness champions Timea Majorova and Valeria Pilone, and that of Guillaume.
Born in Rimini in 1964, Maurizio Polverelli is specialised in photography closely allied to the world of fitness, of beauty. This book is the outcome of a project carriedv out together with the Natural Project company, developing a communication route passing through the emotive power of conceptual, artistic and evocative photography.
